What We Do
In 1996, Friends of Wisconsin State Parks (
FWSP) became the first and only non-profit public foundation committed to protecting and enhancing the Wisconsin State Park Systems. With over 80 local groups statewide and an individual membership advocating for our parks and trails, FWSP has been an instrumental part in raising the quality of experience enjoyed by our Park System visitors today.
Who We Are
FWSP is made up of a dedicated volunteer board and receives part-time support from the WI Department of Natural Resources State Park System Staff.
