Candlelight Snowshoe Hike

Enjoy a romantic Valentine's Candlelight Snowshoe Hike through the trails of Rib Mt. State Park. All ages and all abilities welcome with two loops. Snacks and refreshments available around campfire. Snowshoe rental is available on a first come first serve basis (donations accepted).

Candlelight Ski/Hike
      Hiking or skiing by candlelight, a roaring bonfire, a trail-end shelter and complimentary warm refreshments welcome participants at Pike Lake's 21st annual Candlelight Ski/Hike Saturday, February 13th. 
     The Friends of Pike Lake will line the trails with over 200 candle-powered luminaries to welcome and guide skiers and hikers. The Northern Cross Science Foundation will provide star viewing and instructions (whether the weather is clear or cloudy) with telescopes set up in the parking lot.

Candlelight Night
Experience a winter evening by candlelight as hundreds of candles are lit to guide skiers, snowshoers and hikers on separate trails. Come when you can, ski at your own pace on the Skyline Cross-Country Ski Trail. Snowshoers will discover the winter solitude of forest and field near the Ice Age Center (snowshoes are available for use free of charge for ages 6 and up). Hikers can enjoy a candlelit walk beside the St. Croix River.  Warming fires and refreshments available at the Ice Age Center.
